“La page blanche”

This is a 1080p remaster of Olivier Assayas’ 1994 episode of Tous les garçons et les filles de leur âge titled “La page blanche”. The episode is extremely hard to find, and the only available copy is a 460p broadcast rip without subtitles.

“La page blanche” is a shortened version of Assayas’ feature Cold Water, which had released earlier in 1994. Nearly all of the content from “La page blanche” is present in Cold Water, with the exception of a few extra frames in two instances in the first five minutes.

The goal of this remaster was to recreate, frame by frame, “La page blanche” as it aired in November of 1994 using a high quality scan of Cold Water. In order to maintain the integrity of the recreation, there are a few minor instances in which I had to use the broadcast rip, so there may be some lackluster audio transitions and brief broadcast imagery.
